Hi again:

I'm curious to know if there is a preferred paint product or manufacturer of paint for video chromakey when using the Sony MVS-8000G.

I understand that the chromakeyers in the MVS-8000G are a proprietary Sony design.

Is anyone using the ROSCO Digicomp paint products? or is there another product that is recommended.

It has been a few years since our key wall has been painted, so it would be prudent to ensure that the paint base and lighting are optimal first.

thx.

b.

We repainted our wall when we went to HD and the 8000G a little more than a year ago now. I can ask around and see what paint we used, but I think you'll find the chroma keyers in the 8000G are fantastic. With a green wall, I have been able to key an anchor with green stripes in his tie ... and with a blonde anchor and meteorologist, the "color cancel" feature has also been a blessing to eliminate that green halo that used to appear...
