7350 shot box and gpi

I ran into a problem with a DVS-7350,

When I assigin a shotbox to recall an effect with a gpi command it does not fire the gpi, But if I if I call up the effect with the numeric pad it works fine.

The GPI is a loop back to trigger a cut on M/E 3, The effect regions are PGM/PST, PT TL, VTR.

And they are still supporting the 7350 now w/ software revs...atleast the same one we had...cool....Long live the....well...you remember what we called it!

This sounds familiar, yearsssss ago Sony upgraded the software on a 7350 we had b/c of GPI loopback issues. Do you know which version you were on. I don't think it was a 'global' release because the switcher was kind of done with software revisions, but I am sure they can get the update if it is asked for. Do a search for 7350 on this sony forum, you may find the thread that has more detail that I can't remember.
