Has anyone done this?

Can you offer any insight or advice?

Thanks in advance!

Allan is right, you give tally to an output, whatever is assigned to it. If you for example give tally to your M/E1 pgm assigned output, you will get tally on your M/E1 A-bus. As you mention, you select new and set the parameters; output nr; (level); tally type (depending on your group tally setup), and enable it. give it a few seconds to be implemented in your tally control system and it should work. mh

Allan, Right... I get that an aux is assigned to an output, and we're making the output tally-- The question that remains is: on page 7364, there should be a list of outputs that have tallys assigned to them, right? Right now only output 17 (Which they have assigned to PGM1) is in the list on that page. I would gather I have to select "new" and add the other outputs I want to tally right? Thanks for the help...

Scotty, From what I understand, you're tallying an output, not an aux bus. Since an aux bus uses an output, find the output number for that aux bus and set that output up to tally. So remember how we used output 6 for aux 1? I would set the output menu up so that output 6 tallied and when you take a look at aux 1 on the backsplash, you'll see it now gets a red tally. -Allan

To get tally to whatever source feeded to an AUX-bus you go to menu 7364. Choose the AUX-bus output number, choose Tally type and Enable it. We often do this when we do for example different sportsfeeds. The international productions get red tally, and the national production get green and so forth... At least this works when you have serial tally, but it should also work with parallel. mh
