We are looking at a solution with an external shotbox-module to meet the lack of flexipad on the satellite panel. Because we move our satellite panel around quite a bit we need to have it easily de/attachable. Does any of you have such a loose shotbox-module that you can move around, and in that case, how is it connected to the control panel?

Wouldn't it be greate to have it on USB, just stick it in the panel you're working at today :-)

Yes, but are you sure you can do it with the satellite panel? I will try it as soon as possbile, but I find there are some restriction in this area both on the physical panel and in the menu. And it does have the same version as the main panel. mh

Also keep in mind that using the PROGRAM button feature in the ENG/PANEL menu, you can assign the 2nd row of keyer buttons to be a shotbox/macro bus. Pressing the PRE MACRO button will activate this feature after it has been enabled in the menu.

Hey Martin! Your competitor HDR has an external shotbox panels in all their trucks. :-) It's connected to the main panel with a multicore connector. Beware though, if you fire off a macro from the shotbox panel you can't fire a macro at the same time at the main control panel. /Carl
