Greetings:

I noticed something while renaming an snapshot for a particular ME. The name I gave for a snapshot on one ME follows to another ME even though I don't want that name. When you name a Snapshot does the switcher only know that one number, or can each ME snapshot which uses the same number have a different name. Say ME 1 snapshot 51 and ME 2 snapshot 51, same number different ME.

Thanks,

Jason

Jason, Not in front of the swr right now, but in the same menu where you were naming the snapshot , there is a grey rectangular "button" towards the top left. ( it may say M/E 1) If you press this button, a window will pop up with all regions available. Highlight M/E 1 only and deselect all the others. ( all others will be grey). Quick way to deselect all at one shot is to push the "all" button twice at the bottom right. then click ok to exit out of the window....rename snap 51 for M/E 1...ex..two box...then go back into that same window, and select M/e 2, but deselect m/e 1 Rename snap 51 on M/e 2 the name you want that.... Repeat for all other regions. As you change what you are delegating you will see the name change in the menu that lists all the snapshots. This works the same way for the effect menu also. So if you had DEV 1 and MACRO at reg 5, you could name it one thing ( like trans 1) but if you had M/E 1 in a different effect, but also using reg 5, you could name it something else. It is delegated by this menu. Other menus follow this way as well, like file ops when you delegate what region(s) you want to save/load. Curt

Jason ... you are correct that you can give snapshots different names in each ME. When you go to the Snapshot menu (page 6327), tap the gray box just above the grid that shows the list of snapshots and attributes. You probably have "all" selected, and what you're looking to do is to deselect "all", and just pick one of the ME's before you rename the snapshot. Hope that helps, Matt
