Hopefully someone can shed some light on this issue as its got us stumped here.We got a new EVS XT2 and have cabled up two of its outputs into the switcher. We have the tallies going out to an Evertz Multiview. We added the inputs to source list, paired them in the Main V/K table and then added them to each table we use in one of the directories and everything worked perfectly. When we cut to the sources the tally on the Multiview lit up.However when we loaded another directory (different shows have their own directory) changed the exact same inputs in the source list, added them to the exact same place in the Main V/K pairs and even added them to exact same spot in each table the tallies did't light up. If we load the original directory the tallies spring back to life.I'm sure we have missed something obvious but collectively we are stumped.

the basic problem with setting is that we start modifying it without analyzing the role of each and every element carefully. I did the same and got all merged in a bottleneck belly button rings. but thanks to my friend who helped me a lot in understanding the basic tactics that we must consider while proceeding.

I would look into your tally settings for the two setups and see what is different. Something must be changing inbetween the two.  If you setup that isn't working doesn't change much compared to the one that does, you could always rebuild...not the best answer but it would solve the problem. Curt
