I posted this in the thread I had going, but wanted to start a new thread also to help anyone in the future that may search for this question.

Are EMEMS on the kayak all like "Master Emems" would be on a kalypso?  You define what is controlled and recalling 00 on any recall (ME1, ME2, PP) would recall the same thing?  Similar to the 300 mode on a grass switcher.  In my usual setup I would build Master Emems to control replays and DDR effects along with splits and boxes, and 00-09 would be camera cut with bug in me3, and 10-19 cg1 bug, so on.  I just don't want to hose myself and build over effects.

Hi,

on Kayak,KayenneXL all E-Mems in all available M/E's are individuals . The Master E-Mem allows to access all resources listed in "DefineMemo" . The local E-Mem's are restricted to their local resources plus all internal and external Misc resources e.g. Aux , RamRecorder , eDPM , External seriell Machienes , External LAN AMP's , etc. accessable via the local E-Mem "Define-Memo" in order to create effects such as replay wipes also from a local M/E level. Keep in mind that the selected resources in "Define-Memo" can be changed on a KF by KF level and are not tight to the E-Mem number. Make sure that the function "Auto Recall" is enabled , in order to affect only those resources which are programmed into the effect . Disable "Auto Recall" allows to prevent resources from recall even if they are programmed into the E-Mem. Hope that helps and

Best Regards

Helge
