animation key from kayak RAM

how do you record an animation or key signal from chyron to the RAM on the Kayak.When the clip or still is recorded in the RAM it cannot be keyed automatically it has to be clipped.

You have to record the matte into a second channel of RAM.  Generally, the fill goes in an odd numbered channel, the matte in even channels.  On playback you have to pair them together.  I believe you can record them together as well.
