I notice when I shrink the iDPMs to certain levels that it whacks the image out of focus.

I've tried all channels, I've confirmed defocus is not enabled.

Just a flaw?  Doing something wrong?

Simply trying to build an FSN two box, the "big" box is acceptable, the "small" box looks like a TD mistake.

Lou, I have Big Ten truck 18 right now and I haven't noticed any issues.

I am thinking hardware issue, otherwise people would have been talking about this long ago.

EDIT: Today, 7/25, I was asked to build another effect and it used the BIG/ small box artwork. When i sized the DPM for the smaller box, it was in fact blurry. I checked all 4 DPMs on ME1 and like you reported, all were blurry.

Were you able to reboot the box? Did you try all channels, all ME's? What truck? I haven't seen this so far this season. I will look for it.

Oh, what version software?

It may the the hardware. Kalypso DPM's are frame-based - they look good at any size, but they are expensive. The Zodiaks used field-based DPM's which were cheaper but trash the video when they are shrunk to certain sizes. Check to see if the iDPM's are field-based or frame based on your system. If they are field-based, you may be stuck.
