key issue in mvs6000

Hi all.

I have this problem: cam 1 is on air. i set the next transition for bkgd+key1, key 1 being a deko with a full screen graphic. bkgd is cam 2. in preview i see the correct next transition (only the fullscreen graphic). when i start the transition (mix) i see first the camera 2 mixed with the graphic, and then de graphic. this happens while using the ME in multi program. if i set it to normal, this doesn't happen, it mixes correctly. in the mvs6000, I have only normal or multi program, not multi program2.

any suggestions ? or maybe i have to talk to sony's representatives.

Operating the switcher in MP mode changes the way that keys + background transitions happen - however why it does this is beyond me.  What you are reporting has been an issue on the switchers for a number of years, and SONY is aware of the issue - I have seen this problem reported on Editsuite before, and I know that I have spoken with them about it in the past.  You may want to talk with SONY about it, just to refresh their memory about the problem.
