Good morning,

I'm hoping someone can give me some pointers.  I am doing a show and have captured all of the video I need to the EVS.  I can call up video, mark in and out and interface with the switcher using channel 1 of the spot box but channels 2, 3 and 4 will not work.  When I try to cue up time code on any of the other channels it tells me its not there.  I can't find any video on these channels.  I have attempted copying the registers from channel 1 to channel 2 but when I do it only cues up the cut I want on channel 1 which is very frustrating,.

This is the TDC100 lance controller.  I am using PBUS and have successfully played and cued from the switcher so that is working correctly.

The tape op is able to log into my machine from his station and has cued up video in all four channels but I cannot from the switcher.

If anyone has any clues or ideas on something I could try it would be appreciated.  I need to create an effect that needs a fill and key signal so I need access to two channels.

Thanks in advance for any help that may be provided.

First question, do you have a copy of the Lance manual?

Second, what version software is Lance running?I think you need version 3 or higher to use clips.

You need to use the CLIP LIST and CUR buttons. Also, check the menu, is the TDC-100 set for INTERNAL or EXTERNAL.

 CLIP LIST - used to display the clip directory of the disk recorder. If supported
by the disk recorder, the clip names present will be displayed. The numbers on the
left side of the display provide an index, for example 04/12 means this is clip 4 of 12.
The names can be scrolled via the +/- keys or the knob.
 CUR CLIP - Loads the displayed clip, when “Clip List” above is active.
