Shalom everybody,
My name is Oren, I'm a vision mixer operator at RGE studios in Israel, we have there 2 MVS-6000 switchers, and had the same problem: when any key is on, we can not make a transition via preset color mix (i usually use it for a "flash" transition), but when there is any key on (no matter it's type), I can't sellect this option (I can select any other option like wipe or NAM, but can't select this one). Only when I turn off the key, I can choose the preset color mix (same problem at M/E 1,2 and P/P).

May anyone has a suggestion?

Thanks

Oren

Are you using Multi Program?  If so, the keyers perform their own transition (this lets you wipe a background while you mix key 1 while you DVE key 2, all with one lever arm pull).  Because PST COLOR MIX is not generic to the keyer transitions, it won't let you do this.  If you are in Standard mode, this should work fine...I use it all the time.
