Chroma key on Kalypso

So I was setting up an effect from the clipstore that has a chomakeyed element at the end of it.  On keyer 4 on the P/P row, I used the auto setup to select the color, but when I clicked it, it didn't key.  I tried it a few times, making sure that I had a chroma keyer available, but still no go.  So I tried the auto setup on keyer 4 on ME3, and it worked.  So I copied it to keyer 4 on P/P, and voila!  It worked.

 

I'm baffled as to why it wouldn't take the setup... anyone else run into this?

Remember, it's a computer. Computers are only as good as the programming. There might be some tiny bug that prevents a chroma key to use the auto select on P/P if some other conditions are met.
