Hey all... I'm on a 4 M/E 8000G running v8.10.2 software.  I'm wondering if there's a way to get your downstream keyers to ignore the table assigned to P/P.  I know in the XPT Assign menu, you can independently assign a table to your DSK's but no matter what you do, the DSK's ignore the XPT mapping and only recognize the table assigned to P/P.  Does anyone know how to work around this?  I'd like to have the XPT mapping on my P/P bus's one way and the XPT mapping on my DSK's to be completely different.

Thanks!

Allan

I've never been able to get it to work either, I remember trying it on version 7.

In looking at table assignments, it appears that the DSKs SHOULD allow different table mapping (menu 7322), but when I tried to map the DSK's to a different table and then selected the new crosspoints, I too found that the DSK's didn't "take" the new assignments.  So this looks like a bug.

If you don't have too many sources that you need to feed the DSk's couldn't you use the Key Snapshots as a small source selector?  You'd only get 4 choices for each keyer, but those snapshots could recall sources that aren't mapped to the PP table...just temporarily map your other sources to PP, then select the sources & store them as Key Snapshots...then remap PP to its original table; you will have all of the PP sources available to the DSK'S along with 4 more "hot buttons" in the Key Snapshots.
