I was wondering if anyone else has had issues when using a spot box.  I load a clip with the lance then line up the fill and matte.  I mark the in point but when I recall the clip it has slipped like half a frame.  I am thinking this is caused by the spot being produced in 29.97 frame rate and the EVS is set for the 30 frame rate.

If anyone has a suggestion on a easy fix I would apprciate it.

Thanks

Let me guess, it happens when you're in 720p?

The problem is when the graphics creators don't start both the fill and matte on even frames, or both on odd frames.  For example, if the fill starts on frame 28 of the clip, and the matte starts on frame 45 of its clip, then they will be a frame off, because the Lance only recognizes 30fps, not 60.  So it will "round down" to the closest 1/30th of a second.

Does that make sense?

I've had this happen too both in 720p and 1080i.  Very frustrating.
