Does anyone know what format the HDD hooked into the FM Device USB should be? I cannot a drive to be recognized by the OS. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Does Sony advise any particular size drive for the FM device?  I'm just asking as I remember Sony used to advise against using anything larger than 2GB when connecting a USB thumb drive to the panel.  I'm assuming for FM storage, you'd attach to the frame and would need greater capacity -- still, I thought I'd mention it.

I can tell you that on my "ancient" 8000A, I have used 64GB & 128 GB thumb drives - they take a long time to initialize into the system, but they do work.

I've found the MVS3000 more tolerant to USB drives. I have plugged 32gb sticks into them with no issue. The same sticks don't work on the 8000G or 7000X we have. They are formatted as FAT32 as Bob said.

I believe that it's FAT 32.  I know that's what you need to format the thumb drives to.
