We have 2 fastforwards hooked to TDC 100 that is controlled by the Kalypso via Pbus. Each Lance channel has its own Pbus address. On C + D we have fill and key for some interstitials. We have made an emem that plays both C + D (first keyframe does nothing, second plays, no recue, no stop) We have also made a macro that recalls the emem, put the key in, plays the effect, dissolves between program and preset, ect. Works great, however, sometimes when a clip is already playing on channel A, and we fire this macro, channel A stops. This seems to only affect certain clips on channel A. Can anyone think of why this happens?

Check to see if you have mapped your channel A as a PBUS device (ENGINEERING SETUP / PORTS/DEVICES/PBUS. If so, under the PBUS/GPI menu, look at the PBUS page. Recall your E-MEM & check to see if the LEARN/RECALL button for the A channel lights up. If so, then it was probably inadvertantly on when the E-MEM was Learned. To fix it, recall the E-MEM, turn off the Learn/Recall button & press LEARN, then MODIFY. This will change the header data for that E-MEM so that it doesn't send out any PBUS info to that device.
