Hi all.

I have a timeline built on an ME on a Kalypso switcher. I want to change the still store playback source for still C.

I have been told by someone that I need to change my still store source, then hit lock/learn MODIFY on each keyframe of the effect.

I can't seem to get it to work.

Is this method correct, or is there another way?

BTW if I do a lock/learn the register, I blow out the timeline, so I know I can't do that.

Thanks in advance.

Don't forget... Learn Mod also allows you to change P-Bus register recalls without having to rebuild a timeline (ie on a DVEous - if you're still working that way). Doesn't work that way with the Lance - i just move registers around, but Bill could explain register mapping (if you're following along, Bill?)

Is this timeline a Master E-Mem or do you run it from the ME? IF Master, recall the effect and just hit MOD MOD in rapid sequence, no need that I know of to hit LEARN. If the timeline is run in the ME, on the Master E-Mem panel turn off AUTO RECAL, then enable the level, ME1 or ME2 or ME3 and recall the E-Mem. Then change the source and hit MOD MOD in rapid sequence. NOTE: IF the timeline is elaborate, multiple keyframes and multiple sources, you would have to step through the timeline using the NEXT button, above the MASTER E-mem panel, to the keyframe you need to change. MOD works here too.
