I am just learning the Kalypso. I have a replay effect in and replay effect out using a fast forward. Is there a way to have the the last frame of the replay in recall the replay out. While using a 3000 I use the GPI output to recall the master e-mem. On a Kalypso is there a easy way to do this with a macro or something. Any help with this would be greatly appricated.

Depending on the version of Lance (assuming you're using a Lance), you can also send a trigger to recall effect 101 (where you can store the off move). Doing it this way, you only have to use one Emem instead of 2.

Version 11 works this way on both Classic & Duo. When you come in to a sytem, go to the Enineering Setup Menu. Press Install Options. That will tellyou what software options you have. Hardware, such as Transform Engines, requires that you either open the frame to look for the boards, or try to do 4 Effect Send keys on 1 M/E - if you can do more than 3, then you have 6 DPM's.
Version 11 of the Kalypso lets you program a macro call-up to a keyframe. .
Bob, is this on both Classic and Duo Kalypso's or just the Duo. Also is there an easy way to see what option you have when you walk into a switcher. # of transform engines, whether the SS option has clips option, chroma keyers, etc.. sorry to piggy back off topic question thanks Bill

Version 11 of the Kalypso lets you program a macro call-up to a keyframe. In the E-MEM prefs, assign the Macros to a level. Build a macro that simply recalls the E-Mem (out move) that you want. On the In move E-Mem register, include the level that controls the macros (you may have to use Learn, Mod to modify the header data so that Auto Recall calls up that level). On the last keyframe of the in move effect, go to the macro menu & select the macro assign data box - select the macrfo that you built earlier. Insert this as a keyframe on that level (you may also want a 1st keyframe on that level that does nothing at time 0 - it'll help keep your timing accurate on that level). That's it - you can use this technique on the out move so that its last KF runs a macro that calls up the in move, so that the whole sequence loops.
