Adding macros to timeline

I would like to learn how to make a macro an event on a timeline on a Kalypso. I know how to record a macro, but I don't know how add it on my timeline. For example I have a fast forward "replay on" effect at emem 00. I have a "replay off" effect at emem 01. At the end of my "replay on" timeline, I want it to call up emem 01; and at the end of the "replay off" timeline, I want it to call up emem 00. Is this the most common way to set it up when you have different on/off effects?

Thanks,
Greg G

In the latest software release from GVG, macros can now be attached to timelines. In Daily Setups you can put macros under control of any level you choose. Then go to the macro menu, and build the macros you want. If you want a timeline to call up a second event on the Lance Controller then you need to build a macro that activates either P-bus trigger 11(reg 100-199) or 12(200-299). In the macro menu turn on the enable button and select the trigger you want. Insert a keyframe. Your timeline for macros can include any event you want at the rate of 1 macro per keyframe. I use this method on dual feeds to run animations without affecting the state of the one ME that I have use of. I can run animations along with macro activated transitions that ignore crosspoints and keyer states. For example, my emem recalls Misc 6(Lance Controller) and Misc 3(macros). I build a macro for each of the following events. Run the Fast Forward Change Keyer 4 from the Tele to the Fast Forward Auto Transition Change keyer 4 from Fast Forward back to the Tele Pbus trigger 11 Pbus trigger 10 Since the emem and timeline never recall the PGM/PST level of the switcher, it ignores keyer states and crosspoints. I got this idea from a director that I work with on occasion. It works great. For trigger 10 and 11 to work you need to have the latest software release on the Lance Controller.

Greg, the answer is in the E-MEM Prefs section. as well as in the MACRO section. tom, I have run into several Lance controllers that have not been upgraded for whatever reason.

If your Lance controller has version 3 firmware on it I suggest you use triggers 10 and 11 as solution for your problem. It works wonders for me. 2 fast forward clips...1 timeline!!! Brilliant!!! It's all in the lance manual for V3. Let me know if you need more assistance.
