Been trying to do a loop for a background monitor at our station. Getting sick of having to eat up an EJ or DVD. I've read the animation portion of the frame memory section of the manual over and over and still can't get it to work?

Any tricks to making an animation loop in the 8000 world?

We are on V.5.0
Ahh, that may be where I'm mistaken. So looping is a function of the USER effect store, and not something within the menu of the Frame Memory?
Yes..... I find it a lot more flexible. For instace, lets say you had an animation that was a bug..... the beginning of the bug had something that brought it on-screen but you never wanted to see that portion again. With KF Loop, you can play all the keyframes (frames of animation) and only loop the portion you want. In addition you can still make any of the keyframes' durations longer than one frame. This would let you "hold" a frame of the animation. RE

On the 10-key pad it will ask you FROM.... enter the start keyframe. It will then ask you TO.... Enter the last keyframe to loop. Then it will ask you COUNT..... Enter the number of times you want it to loop. If you enter 0, it will be infinite. KF LOOP is stored on an effect by effect basis. Make sure you store the effect with KF LOOP turned on. If you recall another effect with KF LOOP off, it will be off. If you recall this animation again, it will recall again. 2) Use EFF LOOP. EFF LOOP will just loop the effect on the region you select infinitely. However, using EFF LOOP will make EVERY effect loop, not just that one so be careful! Hope that helps! RE
