Can someone explain why the macro numbering jumps after you go past the first 32 keys? You can use shift to record more macros after you use the first 32 macro keys on the panel, but when looking at the catalogue in the macro menu, the first shifted macro doesn't show up under macro 33 but under macro 51. Am I missing other un-shifted keys on the panel between 32 and 51? Thanks

The reason for the jump is so that whether you are using a 32-button panel, 24-button panel, or 12-button panel, the shifted registers will be the same (Shift-1 on a 32 button panel = # 51...it is the same on the 12-button panel. This was done for consistency across different panels. If it's easier for you, you can create the macros using the buttons and then copy them to registers that aren't accessable from the panel - or vice-versa.

There are actually 100 macro registers available. The panel only allows you to access the ones you specified. It is, however, possible to create macros on the hidden registers through the menu. It is not very useful, though, since attaching those macros to buttons is really clunky in the software.
