Not so much of a switcher question, but more about the M-Servies iVDR. Haven't been in touch with Grass about this yet, but thought I'd seen if any of those that frequent these forums have seen this...

We've got one box (2 channels) dedicated to our Kalypso for animations and such. Seems that for the last week or two, the M-Series has been halting around the same time each night, or at least a few nights during the week. Seems to happen after it sits idle for a few hours between shows. Interface completely locks-up, and shows-up as "NO RESP" at the Kalypso. There isn't any other software running on the M-Series, so I'm not sure what might cause this.

Has anyone else seen this?

Thanks!
Matt

Mike Dant or Jay Foster at GV Customer Service may be able to tell you which software version fixed the networking issue.

Thank you, Bob! We're running 12.0.1 right now, but since the problem just manifested, I'm thinking that we might have a networking issue on our hands. Thank you for the insight...much appreciated!! Matt

I remembr seeing something like this when I was testing at GV. The lockups occurred as a result of both the M-Series & the Kalypso running AMP protocol. If the connection broke or any reason - even for an instant - the comms locked up, requiring a reset of both devices. It was supposedly fixed somewhere around 12.0.1 or so.
