The Kayak can only recall one DPM "effect" in an E-Mem, so you can't fly stuff around using keyframes in timelines like a Kalypso. A DPM effect can have several keyframes, but those keyframes will be completely unrelated to the keyframes in your timeline, it's basically running parallel to your E-Mem. Editing a DPM effect is pretty similar to editing a timeline, simply delegate the effects subpanel to DPM and you can use the same controls you use to edit E-Mem keyframes. You can also use the DPM menu in the panel (not the sidepanel), which I really think is more intuitive anyway. Now, you want the windows to pause full-screen until you press a button to trigger them? There are a couple ways you can do this. First, you could manually recall the DPM effect using the effects subpanel delegated to DPM, hit "cut" to start the animation, and pressing cut again will pause it. Press it again to start it again etc. You can also create a macro to do this for you without having to delegate the effects subpanel away from E-Mems. The other way, which I would probably prefer, would be to create a separate E-Mem with associated DPM effect for each phase of the move. One to animate key1 full, a second to animate it off and animate key2 full, etc. Unless you're really starved for E-Mems, this would probably be the best way to go.

Not sure what you mean, if you could phrase your question a bit more clearly (i.e what exactly you're trying to do here) we could help you out a little better.
