Hello,

I will be on a truck next week with a DVEous MX. Curious as to the differences between the MX and the "standard/non MX" DVEous.

I work on a non MX DVEous on a daily basis but have never seen an MX ( aside from at NAB a few years ago I think) Specifically, basic operation... Won't be doing any real complex effects. Just wanted to see if there were any gotchas between the two to look out for. The brochure from Abekas says that the control panel and user interface are the same from the older DVEous.

Thank you

Curt

I haven't had disk issues BUT when you load 4x3 effects into a 16x9 box some of the effect values may need adjustment.

This weekend I used a DVEous MX and it wouldn't load the director's "classic" DVEous disks. Is there an incompatibility issue here? Or maybe the disks were just iffy?
