I am controlling a VTR from the Zodiak, and am trying to put 6 cue points in. I can only manage to MARK and CUE 1. Is there any way I can have 6 different time-codes and then get a MACRO to cue to each point. Your help is appreciated.
Many thanks for your input gentlemen. The E-MEM method works perfectly. The Timeline method only seems to work in the forward direction. I'll contunue with the E-MEM path. Thanks again.
For Bob's timeline idea, make sure you use the go to keyframe button and then the keyframe #, and enter, then un light go to keyframe. That should work..

I agree with Bill that the macros should be able to directly address the menu, so you should be able to use them to type in numbers & then cue. If you're going to use E-Mems, how about this: Instead of building 6 different E-Mems, how about building just one, but with 6 different keyframes - each with a different cue point. Then each of your 6 macros could call up the E-Mem & do a GO TO KF. You'll get the same result as with 6 E-Mems, but you'll only be burning one E-Mem.

Probably easiet way is to build 6 emems that talk to the misc level assigned to the VTR you are controlling. Then you can simply built 6 macros that call up those emems. Another way is to build a macro that goes into the ext device menu and types in the timecode, this should work in theory, but emem way is the easiest Bill
