Hi Folks,

I have only just noticed this problem...
When using Ram 1 in clip mode, and having just finished recording a clip,
everytime we then change input to the ram...or ram2 or ram 3 or ram 4
the RAM 1 goes back into record... over what we had already recorded.
Anybody else encountered this?

Thanks
Hello. Has anyone else had this problem that I am about to mention. It invovles a DD-35 XXTEND. It is the BIG mixer 32 buttons across. Randomly when you run a macro the desk will reset, thus rendering it useless until the panel reboots. As far as I know the software fix for this came out a few years ago but a mixer I have been using lately has been reseting ON AIR randomly. We have been assured that as of Sunday that this has been updated. Is it possible that certain MACROS will cause the panel to hang and reset?
What do you have the macro in question programmed to do?

Gidday newbie, I haven't had much to do with the Kayak (Just Lucky I Guess!!) The version I have had to use has 4 seconds of Ram dedicated to Stills and the remaining 28 seconds available to record moving pix. You can select as an input to the Ram any source available at the panel. You can also gang the 4 channels of Ram together so you aren't limited to 7 seconds( 1 Channel ) So you can have 2, 3 or 4 channels ganged together, giving you 14, 21 or 28 seconds of Ram available to record any moving pix. Cheers Roy

Dear fellows: I am newbie, and Im not sure about the state of my kayak DD I?ll like to know if the ram recorder option is available. In the ram recorder?s menu appears 12 seg of ram to record, but I can?t record any video (I don?t have any VTR connected kayak) Do I have to transfer the files via USB?
