I have a still image(in the internal Frame Memory)of a key cut-out that I need to fill with video. This key is not a perfect square, and it's in the upper-right portion of the screen. Is there a way to DME the fill without also manipulating the cut-out?

There may be an easier way, but one idea is to bring the DME's keyer back into the switcher as another ME pgm output. Then key the source and do a split key with the non modified key signal. Not sure if Sony allows you to re-enter in the same ME? If not would have to key it in another ME. Another idea is if you have any external dme's, you could split key it when you key the DME as a source. Here is a thought, I think Bob had mentioned before. Map the internal DME video output to a crosspoint and then do the split key there. Still burn two keyers but should keep you in the same ME if you cannot re-enter. Bill
