So does anyone have a pdf of the manuals for the sony 7000, or do you know where I could get my hands on them?

A "sticky" is a thread on a forum, this or others, that stays at the top of the forum no matter how old it gets. If you notice older threads with no new posts tend to go down in the forum. A sticky will stay at the top so that it can be found.

Thx for the reply Mike. I found what I was looking for, but just FYI for me, what is a "sticky"? I am absolutely green to the site? AI
