Hi all, im looking for an Operation manual for the Kahuna HD/SD 4 M/E Switcher.
The Snell & wilcox homepage only offersDemo brochures.
does anyone have an idea ?

hi,

i've joined thte kahuna club but was unable to access the kahuna 360 manual nor any documentation except for the brochures. This is a really old thread but just wondering if anyone can offer some help... please?

Send me an email from the email address you used when you registered for Kahuna Club. There was a whole re-registration process that you may have missed when we ported the club to a new platform. I should be able to fix your download problem.

Ken - I am to be going to work for a local station that uses the Kahuna and would like to have a serious head start on it's operations and functions. Any chance that you can let me in on the instructions to obtain a copy of the manual. It would be much appreciated.....

We just purchased the Kahuna as well. Can I get a copy of the manual? Also I heard that there is supposed to be an application that comes with the switcher that runs in a PC that converts .tga with key files into .sws filesd that the switcher uses. Can you elaborate on how this works, and is it possible to download that software as well? We are going to do some training at another facility that already has the Kahuna and we would like to be able to bring files to that site ready to ingest and use in the switcher when we get there. I did find the USB that came with the switcher but it only had one file it. It said upgrade.opt??

Ken,

Looks like this site has kept you you pretty busy over the years but I have the same request for the manual. I'm familiar with and have operated Barco swithchers and would like to compare the Kahuna. There is also a position open that requires a "working knowedge' of Kahuna that I'm interested in applying for.

Hi, Ken Some of them just bought the Kahuna HD/SD Version. So I?d like read the Operational manual in advance. i?m just about to leave for a job in Tokyo, where the Kahuna Switcher is used. So if a have a chance to download the manual, it would be a great help. Thank you very much.
