8k + Dme-3/7000

Anyone with luck been operating with a 8K mixer and used DME-3000 and 7000 as external DVE and been able to control it from the mixer?

Yes, I controlled a DME-7000 with a DVS-9000 via b-pus. I believe that Sony provided us a chip upgrade that allowed the DME to received p-bus commands. The only drawback I remember was that device IDs were fixed. DME1 was device 0, and DME2 was device 1.
