Ken,

Is this the version that is coming in our new Kahuna?

I read This:

"With IMPAKT, Kahuna offers up to four twin-channel 3-D DVEs that users can apply in either SD, HD, or both, "

OR both...Does this mean you can use both SD and HD sources without going through a bus?

Yes. Each card has its own timeline. In fact (I think) if you split the 3D DVE cards to function as two separate twin-channels, each of those could have their own timelines too. I'll need to double check on that claim so don't hold me to it. :) Cheers, -= Ken =-

Interesting. Also does each card run off a separate timeline? So I could use one board for a crawl that is running all the time, and the other board for show effects?

Hi Don, You have the latest version of the 3D DVE or Impakt. It is still true what we did during training. To use a combination of formats, the off-format sources need to go through a bus first. I think what they mean by "both" is that you have 2 boards (each consisting of 2 twin-channels) and each board can be set to a different format. Cheers, -= Ken =-
