I had a re-entry problem yesterday, and I can't figure out what was wrong with it...

On the P/P bus, ME1 was selected. On ME1, I had a push back move with K4 (tape machine) full, pushing back to a corner over ME2. With the re-entry restriction on, it wouldn't let me select ME2 on the ME1 A bus. With it off, I got a screen of feedback green. What was the problem with that?

That's what I thought, but I can't find anything that would cause it. The only possibility I can think of is I had ME2 punched on the Preview bus of P/P, but I don't know why that would cause it. I'll just do a workaround instead.

If M/E 1 is anywhere on M/E 2 (such as on keyer 3/4 or the hdden on the Utility Bus), it can cause re-entry conflicts - I've gotten tagged with hidden re-entries. But if you turn off the restriction, this shouldn't be happening. Going to a green screen is an indication that one M/E is looking at another M/E which is looking back at the 1st M/E.
