Hey guys, first time poster here...been lurking for a few weeks just reading old threads. This place is full of great stuff!!

Anyway, on to my question. I made an E-MEM yesterday on a 2.5 ME zodiak using only the ME1 EMEM subpanel where a graphic flew on and the sources were supposed to undercut beneath it. anyway I got the DPM move to work great, but I couldn't get the bkgd sources to change. But when I programed that same EMEM in the master EMEM panel it worked fine. I thought if I only wanted to work on the ME1 EMEM level then I could do it in the sub panel, so my question is what is happing in the subpanel, or better yet when would you even use it if you can't change bkgd sources in a timeline. maybe I am missing something...

All timelines have to be built in the master emem panel. You can only save "snapshots" in the ME emem panel.

I always thought that for a timeline effect, you had to build the effect using your Master E-MEM delegation panel ... even if it is only 1 ME. After learning the effect, you can recall it directly in the ME and run it from there, or from the Master E-MEM panel. Hope that makes sense... Matt
