Hi All:

I am trying to do something tricky with a GVG 3000. I was wondering if anyone knew how to get the run button on a ME bank to run a master e-mem timeline. I was thinking of using a GPI to do this. I just can't figure out how to attach a GPI to that button. I don't even know if it is possible. Any info would be appricated.

If you're really desparate for this, two 18-inch long wires with alligator clips at each end will do the trick. You just jeep the contacts from the M/E's run button to the master run button. On newer switchers, this would void the warranty, but you shouldn't have that issue on an older 3K/4K, as the warranty probably ran out when the support for the switcher was turned over to a 3rd party.

Could have engineering make you a button to put somewhere else on the panel, that would GPI trigger the run button.

Not possible, due to the fact that you'd need a macro to do this and the 3k does not have this functionality.
