Just saw that "V722 MVS-DVS-MVE Software Pack.EXE" was posted on the Sony FTP site yesterday. Is this the long awaited new version? I thought it would be 7.23.

I read a little about new macro timelines, seems like in one area it said the macros were the same as your 99 that you have is that correct. Same idea as Kalypso macros in a timeline? Build macros first and then insert them later, assume you have to keep those macros around. I thought you could do an attachmemt without hitting the crosspoint? Can't find how that works. Is it a menu? I saw the hold pre-porst buttons so that it does a macro only. Be nice if there is a menu for attachments
There is a menu setting that says whether you want the button to work or not when attaching macros. Menu page 7326.6. Also another cool thing on macro timelines is you can have multiple macros playing at once. If you have a macro that takes, say 5 seoncds and you fire it on KF #1, you can then fire another macro on KF#2 and they will both be running. RE
Ok, I found that info in the pdf from the sony site. Seems like you can also hold down pre-post to do a macro only instead of having to assign a macro only to a pref button that is a nice addition. Still wish there would be a menu for attachments. Once you are in a show tough to do an attachment. You still have to recall the macro before you attach it. A menu you where you select the macro and the button to assign it to would allow you to do it during a show. Cool about multiple macros playing during a timeline. Will this mean that you can run macros from the flexi and have more then one running at the same time? Or will this work only in the timeline? Also what does the new menu 7337.7 do for DME's in a ME? You an do 3 now? little confusing in the manual. If so makes sense since you can do a 3 channel dme link. Another feature for sports I guess is that you can control a audio mixer by what source is taken. So I guess it whatever camera you take the audio could follow from that camera? Not sure the audio guys would like the idea or not. thanks

Hmmm ... it could be. I have some documentation about some of the features of this version of software. It's a PDF and can be found at Matt
