We've got two Indigo switchers at some our smaller campuses, both installed within the last few months, and both have had the same problem. Almost randomly the Transition tab is inaccessible, when you select it on the touch screen, it just sends you to the Load/Save page. While it doesn't occur that often, it has become a bit of a nuisance of late because you cant change the length of effects, dissolves, anything. Has anyone else run into this problem. At first I thought it was user error, but now starting to doubt that.

The Aux outputs are only spigots for inputs. Run the SDI PGM out into an unused input, then you can route your program feed to an Aux. We made an 1' BNC cable to do this.
Did you have any sync issues with this? We recently used it as a subswitch for a big concert, and I set the loop back up (trying to cheat and add 3 more SDI outputs using the Aux outs) but when I did, it caused all sorts of sync issues that couldn't be resolved with the switcher (I think it said something like 526 lines out of sync or something). Since it was a last minute deal, I didn't have a ton of time to dig in depth on it. Both the input (used source #8) and all the outputs kept glitching. As soon as I removed it everything was fine, so went that route instead. B
You could hook up any non-synced source up to input 8 and send it out to aux 1-3 and be fine, because the Indigo has built in frame syncs, correct? (Though you would have at least a 1 frame delay.) Do you have external sync hooked up to the indigo? Do you have external sync lock enabled? Did you have the framesync bypass button enabled or disabled for input 8? Today I saw in the manual that it says: "AUX outputs cannot be used in bypass mode and are always re-clocked/ timed." I guess means that auxes will always have a 1 frame delay. I never saw the setup I described actually function. I saw how it was hooked up, but the people where I used to work said that they haven't actually used it in this manner. I would try toggling the "bypass framesync" button to see if it makes a difference. It seems like it would need to be set to disabled. Matt

Is there a way to get program out on one of the Aux busses? I have some secondary displays I'd like to be able to switch between Program and Video, independant of Program. btw, the Software update is working splendidly. B
