I need some technical help with the BVE-2000.

We still use a couple of BVEs in our linear edit suites an since our last CRTs begin to get broken, we are looking for LCDs we can use with the BVE-2000. At Sony's IBC booth I could find out you have to work with software version 2.26 and then you have the chance that some LCDs may work.

Did anybody have the same problem and can help me with a manufacturer's name of LCDs that work with the Sony BVE? We've already tried LG and Acer and they did not work.

Thank you very much for your help!

Greetings from Cologne!
Chris

Greetings fellow jedi! As a linear editor for 30 years there are a few of us left. I haven't used a BVE in years, but cut on a Axial for sports all the time. I built 2 HD control/edit bays over a year ago and it's so nice to have great gear. Go check out 3555hayden.com for pics. Jason

Only to know that I'm not one of the last guys using the BVE... is there anybody out there still working with linear edit suites (as I do)? To avoid any questions: yes, I know Avid, and yes, I do work with it, and yes, we have much more Avid suites (30 I think) than linear edit suites (only one is left) but I don't give up hope that there are some other cool guys working with the good old BVE! :) Chris
