Pinnacle 9000-----HELP!

Doing a show next week on a Pinnacle 9000. I did not know it was the switcher when I agreed to the date. Owner/EIC told me not to worry because "the 9000 is pretty intuitive...." but he is not the one sitting in the chair.

They use a 360Systems Image server with a Buf Shotbox...

Any suggestions or help will be appreciated, especially a link to a manual...

Told the director to remember that "a cut is a transition." At least he laughed....a little.....

Thanks... Tedd Tramaloni sent me a manual for the switcher....thanks again Tedd....He mentioned machine control and P-Bus...but the manual did not say anything about it. I believe that the truck uses GPIs to trigger transitions and to trigger playing of clips from the ImageServer. I will have to manually cue the clip with the Buf controller. Tedd's manual said the 9000 was a 2.5 ME switcher but the owner told me he had a 3 ME. I hope the owner is right.

Hi Mike, Site/Nocturne/Pinnacle Systems/ You'll probably have to cut and paste the URL since there are spaces in it. There are some manuals there for the PDS-9000 and 6000. I hope this helps. Cheers, -= Ken =-
