What do you guys use to hold your laptop during setup in the smaller trucks? I have a few shows coming up on smaller trucks and this will be very helpful. I know that the last gig I did on a Sure Shot truck the EIC (Cory) installed a permanent laptop stand near the switcher which was very helpful.

Also, how much do you guys use your laptops for setup and during the show?

Thoughts?

I would think the main hurdle would be getting an RS-232 out of a phone, but that's just me.

I don't carry my laptop all that often now. The weight vs benefit isn't there for me. Having an iPhone let's me search the web and read emails without the laptop. I might carry it if I had one show or one truck on a regular basis but that doesn't happen often. Just wondering, can the Kalypso software run on an Atom CPU?
