Hi,
I currently use to trigger the DDR's using P-Bus, a Macro to "set" and another Macro to "run" the transition.
Is there a way to eliminate the "set" and just use the "run" to trigger the transition? I currently go from one transition to a totally different transition (back to back) and it is becoming "a pain" to hit the "set" before the new transition.
Thanks all for your help.
Hi Bill, Thank you for the advice. We use Doremi @ work. I did a rough test and the PAUSE used was 15 frames. It worked fine, so now I can go in and out with different DDR transitions on a one button push. I will now try less frames and see what happens. (I think 15 frames will be the minimum). Thanks again for your help.
Are you just using timecode? have you tried talking VDCP to call up clips? I use Doremi HD machines as well just use timecode, so have to manually call up the clip before our show, little annoying. I think I have gotten it down to like 6 frames and still keeping F/K ganged ok. Gang is in the switcher. Let me know if you have had any luck calling up clips

Still 2 button presses What DDR are you using? If you are looking for a 1 button cue and run, depending on the DDR you will need to add in a delay, maybe 7-60 frames depending on the DDR, before the run command. If it is clip based it might be tough, if it is just timecode like a FFV, you might get away with a lower delay.
