DME Separate Sides

Having trouble with an effect that I built that uses the DME's ability to use separate sides. For all keyframes, I have 'separate sides' enabled on page 4162 ... the trouble is that the effect doesn't recall the back side inputs, and I need to change those crosspoints manually and then modify the effect each time I recall it. Once the effect is in register space and I've made my changes, everything is OK. If I save that effect and recall it later, the back side recalls with the same inputs as the front side.

Any thoughts or ideas? Using an MVS-8000G with MVE-9000.

Thanks,
Matt

Re init status: unlike setup data, which is copied directly from volatile memory to disk when you save a setup in 7112, init status data is copied from flash to disk (and back - only loaded to volatile memory on reboot). So you have to do an init status define in 7314 before you save the modified init status data to disk.

Anyone know why when I use the clear work buffer on DME channels to build a new effect I have to go in and turn off the x-point hold (so that the effect calls up the source I want). I have tried to set this with the initial status or whichever menu that sets clear working buffer, so that it is off but it does not work

Just incase anyone else needs it, it's menu 6113.15 (Path, DME Effect, Xpt Hold). Since I needed an ME as part of this effect, I also did a Xpt Hold on the keyer where the DME channels were assigned. Thanks again for the help, Phil... Matt

Matt You need to turn xpoint hold off on the DME you are using. I think the menu is 6113.13 The default for this is xpoint hold on Regards Phil
