DEKO and THUNDER replacement

I'm curious to find out what other news stations are using for HD CG graphics and STILLS/CLIPS playout.
We will be going HD (at somepoint, 1080i is the plan) and the newsroom is based on the ENPS production system... we already use MOS for CG load and GV server playout.
Currently, we are using DEKO 3000s for CG, and THUNDER for STILLS/CLIPS... from what I have read on the AVID site, it looks like there is a DEKO HD platform, but the the design cycle for the THUNDER seems to be drawing to an end... Is AVID pushing another server from the NLE side as a THUNDER re-placement?
For previous users of SDI DEKO and THUNDER did you end up keeping the boxes and up-converting? Did you go to the DEKO HD platform? or Did you go to another platform? Chyron DUET? VizRT? CLARITY?

There is still a Thunder HD and Deko HD. Also companies that have High end 3D Graphics machines are Viz, Orad, Ross, Harris and Chyron.

Hi Brian,
We recently just upgraded from DEKO and THUNDER to VizRT.  Our graphics department basically re-created all of our backgrounds and clips through the Viz to have everything animated and HD.  It has a very steep learning curve from what I've seen, but once it's up and running it makes life much easier as a TD.  Not to mention not having to worry about the DEKO crashing halfway through every show.
