So...we are running version 10 on the Vision. Our main issue is a communication problem with the Vision and...EVERYTHING. The switcher had to be taken of the closed network and isnt connected to anything. Everytime we connect it, it locks up and freezes. I cant dl and tga sequences in or hook it up to our SMS. It will trigger the deko via GPI but thats it. Engineering was able to however get a tga seq in last week...it did freeze though. YAY I have 1 animated transition to use...but there are others that production wants but we still have problems.

Any suggestions/comments on how to resolve this?

Thanks

Well Les...we have another Vision running ver 10 with no issues...its just this one...but/and it is running on an MDX frame...think that may have something to do with it?

should not be an issue - the frame CPU is the same in both of those switchers.  Talk to the Eng group as they were given some ideas on how to trouble shoot the network.  I think the other system had a dedicated switch put inbetween the units and then connected to computers--so not on the main switch.

v11 software enables the LAN 2 port so you can have both the Panel/Frame on direct link and just put the frame on an internal network.
