Mosart control of a baby Sony 8000

Hiya everyone

 

I'm trying to set up a Sony 600(?) -(baby 8000) so that Mosart, a production control system can take control of the mixer. I can't seem to find an option on the Sony to tell it to listen to Mosart though.

 

Has anyone any experience of this that could help?

Mosart connects to one of the remote ports on the switcher mainframe, and sends commands using Sony editor protocol. You need to set the port to 'Editor A' in menu 7337.1, then turn on remote control by assigning 'SWR Remote1 Enbl' to a prefs button in 7324. By default, it's already assigned to Pref 8 button.

Hello,

Mosart speaks with the vision mixer via editor protocol, on the editor port. Depending on what type of editor protocol Mosart speaks, you may have to tweak the settings for the editor port.
