Kayak emem definitions don't recall

I know I've seen this posted before, but the search isn't coming up with it...

I've had some occasions on the Kayak where my emems don't recall the defined areas.  In othere words, if I have "pgm" clicked, and the emem I'm recalling was learned with "pgm" unclicked, it doesn't recall it.  It stays whatever state I have clicked it into.  So if I click "pgm" off, and recall my "Cam 1 with bug" emem, it doesn't recall cam 1.

Relearning the emem doesn't fix it... and I'm stumped.

There is a button "Auto recall" that needs to be activated. On the Sidepanel PC it's on the TIME/Emem menu.

Thanks... I was told this on another forum, but haven't been on the Kayak again to check it out.
