New backgrounds on K-Frame

Hi GVG gurus

I'm looking at the new K-Frame and trying to figure out the new backgrounds that are available in the Source Ops menu.  Now up top there are A, B, C, D, U1 and U2.  I understand C and D correspond to split mode Secondary sides.  What are the U1 and U2 now for?  Just custom wipe generating and such?

Yes that's pretty much the idea. Secondary partition now has busses for the background layers all the time - C&D - so the Utility busses are freed up to be the edges, wipe generators and so on that they were always able to be. It means that there is a lot of freedom to use the secondary partition without ever losing the look of the primary show.
