Hi guys,

Trying to work out what the secret is to importing .tga files into the image store is, can't find it in the manual anywhere. Using KFrame V7.0.1.

Any clues?

They must be named as a number.tga - obviously, but the number must be between 1 and 8999. The first error is often that the first frame is numbered as 0 - it must be 1 or greater.

In the library window select disk one side and cache the other,  type in the range of the sequence, like 1-36, then before you press execute switch on the "sequence" button. This will create a movie file with the first number as its name. If you need it to be placed in a different target you can use the "Start" button which lets you specify the place in cache.

You can also export the movie as an AVI file if you copy it to the Images folder - in the library - then to a removeable because as you start the export dialogue it asks you whether you want to convert. All movies come out as AVI and all stills as PNG because they both guarantee to hold the alpha information.

Hope it helps,

John
