We’re installing a 3000. When I double-tap CLR WORK BUFFER for the M/Es the crosspoints don’t all go to black, but to a preset assembly of sources. Where is the setting for this buried? I never had to address the issue. This board has newer software than our main, so my brain might be fried to something obvious.

I was forgetting to hit Execute. Many thanks.

Set up the M/Es the way you want it to clear to.

In Menu 7314: Ensure that "Start Up Mode" is set to "Custom", and "Initial Status" is set to "User". (You will need to hit "Execute" if you make any changes)

Then press "Init Status Define", and confirm.  (This is what sets the "Clr Wrk Buffer")

Save your setup file, as this information is saved with the file.  So each saved setup file can have a different Clr Wrk Buffer setting.
